The Village has a Public Works Department as well as a Tree Preservation Code. Section 9-78 of the code deals with the steps that need to be taken to remove a tree from any parcel, whether part of a site development or not. A tree removal permit is required in Libertyville. (Sec. 9-78, par. 1).
